Can a parking AC replace every function of a diesel APU?

Compare the functions your project needs. Cab cooling, heating, battery charging and auxiliary power are separate requirements. Specify which functions the selected equipment and vehicle installation will provide.

Can we advertise a fixed overnight runtime?

Use measured results for a defined installation. Record usable battery energy, ambient conditions, cabin target, cooling load and other electrical loads. Avoid a universal runtime promise based only on the AC model name.
